Management Team

Ian Walker, Managing Director

Ian Walker graduated from Heriot Watt University with a B.Sc. in Chemistry in 1976, this was followed up with a MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School in 1991. Ian has over 17 years experience in the print industry having held senior management positions in a number of leading UK print businesses including De La Rue International and the Bank of England Printing Works. He joined Bell & Bain as Managing Director in 2000.

David Stewart, Sales Director

David served an apprenticeship with Bell & Bain as a printer and a few years after completion, set off on his sales career. He has a wide range of sales experience throughout the printing industry including joint M.D. of his own graphic supplies company. He returned to Bell & Bain in 2000 as Sales Director.

Stephen Docherty, Director and Tony Campbell, Director

Stephen and Tony along with David Stewart look after all the sales needs of our customer and are highly motivated in achieving customer’s goals. Having worked their way up through the industry they are fully conversant with the needs of the modern day publisher. Based in our factory in Thornliebank but having a weekly presence in the London, Oxford and Cambridge areas, our sales team can give the customer the assurance that no matter how large or small their publication is, Bell & Bain can and will deliver at the right time and at the right price.

The Bell & Bain Directors have a vast experience within the Book and Journal market in the United Kingdom.
